Coach Jason has developed youth and college soccer players since 1998 and currently holds a NSCAA National Youth License and USSF "D" License. Prior to choosing to work with Kaneland United in 2013, Jason led the Harper College Men's program from 2000 - 2014 and included being named the NJCAA Region IV Coach of the Year twice.

Other programs Jason has worked with include Glen Ellyn, Barrington High School, Exodus, Euro, Campton United, Lincolnshire, Crystal Lake Strikers and ELA Soccer Club.

One of Jason's best soccer memories includes being a part of the the US Navy Ambassadors Team from 1993 - 1997 which included playing local club teams from around the globe during port visits. 



Mike Mitchinson - VP Competitive Soccer, Coach, Trainer

Mike has developed youth and high school soccer players since 1996 and currently holds a USSF "E" License and an NSCAA Regional License. He has been coaching boys and girls within KYSO and KUSC programs since 2009. Mike led the St. Charles East Men's Soccer program from 2000 - 2003 which included 2 Sectional Championships and a Best of the Midwest Championship. He trained all conference and all state players while coaching at St. Charles East.

Other programs Mike has worked with include Strikers Fox Valley, St. Charles Soccer Club and Campton United. He has worked local camps such as Finishing Touch and Soccer Time Camps

Mike enjoys working with players of all ages developing their 'grit", technique and tactical awareness. 
 
Mike has 2 boys that play with KUSC and during the day he serves as an Elementary Principal in Oswego.

Brad Schlemmer - Technical Consultant, Trainer

Coach Brad has been playing, teaching and coaching soccer for more than 25 years. He has been involved with the training of the youth at KYSO and KUSC since 2012.
 
Brad Schlemmer is the Women's Head Soccer Coach at Waubonsee Community College. In 2014, Brad was awarded the NJCAA Illinois SkyWay Conference Coach of the Year and NJCAA Division 1 Region 4 Coach of the Year. He has helped guide the WCC Women's Soccer Program to 82 wins, 2 SKyWay Conference Championships, 3 NJCAA D1 Region 4 Titles, a NJCAA District D Champhionship and 2 NJCAA D1 National Tournament appearances in 6 years. He has also served as the Men's Assistant High School Soccer Coach at GlenOak High School and Perry High School in Ohio.
 

Dave Hancock - Coach - Trainer

Dave Hancock has over 20 years of coaching experience and holds US Soccer Federation National “A” and National Youth Licenses. His coaching experience includes leading the St Charles North and Geneva High School programs and coaching with the Illinois Olympic Development Program.  At the youth level, Dave was most recently with Campton United.

Hancock’s playing experience includes time at Eastern Illinois University where he was part of 2 NCAA Final Four teams, professionally with Gillingham FC in the English football league system, and a member of the Canadian Olympic Pool.

Laurence Green - Coach - Trainer

Coach Laurence developed his playing skills growing up in England, playing Division 1 soccer at the University of Northampton and began his coaching path with the Northampton Town Football Club.

Most recently, Laurence was Regional Director of Coaching for the Chicago Fire Soccer Camps and Training, responsible for soccer curriculum development and skills camps with over 25 local soccer clubs. At the youth level, he has trained teams with Grayslake Galaxy, Carol Stream Panthers and Cary Defenders. 

Coach Laurence holds level 1 and level 2 coaching certification with the English Football Association and Nike Skills certification.

Coach Becky has been involved with soccer since a young age. As an Elburn native, she grew up playing for local clubs, including Campton United and Elgin Kickers. She was part of the first ever Kaneland High School soccer program and went on to play college soccer at Western Kentucky University and Ashland University where she first got involved with coaching.

While in college, she spent time coaching with Star Goalkeeping Academy and numerous college soccer camps. After graduating, she spent a year as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Tennessee at Martin before moving to England, where she played goalkeeper for Fulham United Women and Queens Park Rangers Women's Club. After England, she moved to Cairo, Egypt to teach at Modern English School where she also coached girls teams and goalkeepers. 

Coach Becky work with Kaneland United Academy players and the club's goalkeepers.
