Elburn IL - The Kaneland Youth Soccer Organization (KYSO) is taking registrations for Spring Recreational, TOPSoccer and Little Knights Soccer through February 28, 2015 at . For registration related questions, please contact Mo Gannon at 630.463.9001 xt 707 or by email at [email protected].

The Recreational program includes 6 games running from April 26 until May 30. All games and practices are held at Elburn Lions Park in Elburn Il. Games are played on Saturdays between 9am and noon. Each team typically practices one evening per week.

KYSO’s Recreational program features small sided games, balanced teams and skills clinics for player development and is focused on providing a fun and enjoyable experience for players and families.

Recreational registration is open to boys and girls ages 5 – 17. Registration fees are $95 through February 28, 2014. The program includes a full uniform including jersey, shorts, socks, volunteer coaches, 6 refereed games and skills clinics. After February 28, the normal registration rate of $135 is in place. Multi-player discounts are available.

TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a national soccer program for special needs players providing meaningful learning, development and physical participation opportunities for young athletes through soccer. As part of KYSO’s community involvement programs, TOPSoccer is provided free for special needs players.

The TOPSoccer program is held on Saturday mornings from April 26 – May 30 at Elburn Lions Park in Elburn IL.

Little Knights is a clinic style, introduction to soccer program for boys and girls ages 3 and 4. The program teaches basic soccer skills through fun games and activities.

Six 1 hour Little Knights classes are provided on Saturday mornings at Elburn Lions Park in Elburn IL. Registration fees are $50 by February 28 and include a soccer jersey and 6 classes.

About KYSO

KYSO provides Big Rock, Elburn, Hinckley, Kaneville, Maple Park, Sugar Grove, and Virgil, Illinois youth with recreational soccer opportunities. KYSO’s programs teach soccer through the use of smaller teams and fields, maximizing participation by all. The program also allows young players to learn and enjoy soccer in a positive and fun environment, usually in their own community with the same children with whom they go to school.

For the player who is primarily interested in fun, fitness, and friendship; KYSO provides a healthy activity through its recreational and small sided games program. This program emphasizes fun and de-emphasizes winning at all costs. Every child is guaranteed playing time and the game is taught in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Kids Just Want to Have Fun!
