Spring 2017 Recreational Coach Training

Kaneland United SC is hosting its Spring 2017 Recreational Coaches Training on Thursday April 6 from 5:30 - 7pm at the Waubonsee Community College Field House located on the Sugar Grove campus.

Club staff along with soccer trainers from Illinois Youth Soccer work with the Spring volunteer coaches and provide demonstrations on skills, age appropriate activities and the Club's philosophy on recreational soccer. Key expectations include keeping training and games fun, everyone plays, no lines waiting to perform an activity, no lectures to players or running laps. Skills development and player conditioning are combined into activity plans.

Soccer training material, equipment, team rosters, risk management and staff introductions are also part of the training session.

Fields will open for practices the week or April 17 and games will begin April 29.
